I graduated in the top 95% of my high school class. Nope. I didn’t write that backwards. My counselor told me, with my poor grades and low IQ, I should join the military or consider a trade like HVAC or plumbing. That’s how it all started. I was fortunate enough to get a job as an apprentice under a welfare program called the Job Training Partnership Act. The federal government paid half my wage. In my case, welfare was a great investment for the USA. Thank you, America!
Fun Fact: My daughter’s middle name is “America”. I love this country. Land of opportunity!
Some know me as Mr. HVAC. The story of how I got that nickname is pretty funny. I’m an entrepreneur, business owner, keynote speaker, workshops and seminars, magazine and video columnist, expert witness, lucky husband, and very proud father. I have been associated with the HVAC industry for a very long time. I have a passion for helping business owners in the contracting world grow their businesses. I’m the President of Aptora Corporation, which manages the growing portfolio of accounting software, field service management software, flat rate pricing software systems, and other related products and services. I own Mr. HVAC LLC and I’m a partner at Pro-American Investments. I’m the majority shareholder at RA Tax and Accounting, Inc.
