ABOUT JAMES R. LEICHTER
ABOUT JAMES R. LEICHTERJames R. Leichter was born
in 1964 (no he is not 17). He is an accomplished service technician, installation technician, and
sheet-metal fabricator. He was one of the youngest to ever receive a coveted
Master Mechanical Certificate in the state of Kansas. James has been certified
in approximately thirty states to perform all phases of gas piping, heating,
air-conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration system design, service, and
installation.
James is the founder and past President of EnviroTech Heating
& Cooling, Inc., one of the most successful residential/light commercial
service and replacement companies in the area. Under seven years of James'
leadership, the company’s annual revenues increased by more than 1600% with no
New Construction or Design Build. He has been featured in several major
newspaper articles as well as local television and radio. He has served as a
consultant to major insurance companies who asked him to investigate alleged
fraud and abuse related to the HVAC industry.
James, whose business card reads, "Delivering a
relevant message in a powerful manner", now spends his time working to
improve the HVAC industry through his efforts as a nationally recognized public
speaker, computer software developer, teacher, writer, and HVAC business
consultant. He works specifically with HVAC dealers in business development,
organization design, employee performance criteria, leadership, marketing, and
service/replacement strategies. He is the author of several publications and
textbooks.
James
has developed three software programs, Flat Rate Plus! (a powerful windows based
flat-rate service pricing program), Proposals 2000 (a powerful windows based
proposal construction program designed with the in-home salesperson in mind),
and Beyond Breakeven 2000, a comprehensive, yet easy-to-use, financial analysis
program designed specifically for the service industry.
